Zuiderstrand. A quieter beach in Scheveningen is the Zuiderstrand. This is located about 3 km (2 mi) south of the harbor. You'll find a few beach bars, although it is much quieter than the Noorderstrand. To the south is the nature area Westduinpark, full of sand dunes perfect for hiking.
